Since December, we work on engines. We found the definition of an engine: it is something (an object or an animal) which gives a movement.




Then we saw what the engine fuel: gasoline for the car, the wind to the sails, watch for electricity, food for the horse that grows a team ...

Today we worked on the engine of "small" cars.

We classified different engine cars.

We found 3 families Engine:
engines elastic: we must go back a spring. To move the car I can pull a string back, back wheels "back" ...

engines inertia: it is a weight that drives the motor. To move forward, it gives movement and weight rotates very quickly and causes the car.

Electric motors: these are the batteries or batteries that drive the engine.

CM1/CM2 Students participated in a workshop with the exhibition organized by André cyrille contemporary art center of the Auction.
The exhibition features two compositions: a composition
(Grand Treader, flashbacks and the weight of the world) located in St. Georges Garden

and a second in the patio of the Museum of Fine Arts.
The facilitator explained the intentions of the artist, the techniques he uses and makes relations with other works.
