Tuesday, November 9, students in kindergarten, GS and CP went to visit the museum located at MANOLI Richardais. As part of the school project on sculpture, so we chose to visit the museum of this metal sculptor but also granite, ceramic. Pierre Manoli was nicknamed the man of fire as he carved all his works with a tool: the torch.
There are many elements of nature through his work: birds, sheep, cats, owls, the eagle, the tree, the sun, as well as mobile representative men in flight or the magnificent sculpture of trapeze leaving us perplexed when the center of gravity!
The children were very interested in each of his works, inspired by the very meaning of each of them ...

We finished our outing with a picnic at the Richardais then a ride to the seaside

Students GS / CP CE1/CE2 CM1/CM2 and have, as every year, the challenge of endurance in the company of all children in the area of Montfort College: St. Gildas Monterfil school, Notre-Dame de Montfort School Our Lady of Breteil, Saint Michel de Bédée School, Sacred Heart School of Iffendic and school of St. Melaine Pleumeuleuc
Every child has prepared for the first time to run a given time: 8 minutes for 35 minutes GS for CM2.
When the contract is completed, a degree rewards the children of the effort they have done.
